We’re hooked on June!…

First up, Cops and Bobbers…

With the Summer just starting and only the second weekend of June coming up, we want all of our Captain and crews to be stay safe on the water. Emphasis this time of year with various law enforcement will be safety checks for proper equipment and life jackets; but also with a keen eye out for impaired boaters. Alcohol coupled with high temps can lead to accidents which may otherwise be avoided. So be safe out there, and know that you can stop by our local Vermilion Police Boat when officers are present and they will perform a safety check free of charge so you are well prepared for Summer fun.

Because Sun days are meant to be fun days…

Stop wishing, Start Fishing

This already has been a season for the ages with some very big walleye seen in coolers all around the marina. Case in point… Look at this whopper.

Fishing has been so good, that we are now accidentally catching them with our travel lift (see below)… Don’t worry we put him right back in the water, and he swam away unharmed.

Bulan’s Boatyard, Eileen Bulan, Vermilion
