Oh Bouy!..are we getting close.
The Sun is out, the temps are pleasant, and we are launching boats to make sure your at the dock and ready for the approaching Memorial Day Weekend. One after the other you can slowly see the marina filling up in anticipation of some well deserved time to relax at the dock.
Not to apply to much “Pier” pressure.. but.
If you are one of those Captains who has still not decided on a course of action, now is the right time. Just stop by the marine store/office and lets us steer you in the right direction. You don’t want your ship stuck on land when all the rest are making a big splash. Just a reminder, there is only one week of launch left before Memorial Weekend.
In the meantime, we will be getting the Marina, Pool, and Putter Port ready for your arrival.
Feeling Blue in a good way..
We would like to take a minute and thank the Vermilion Police Dept and all the Men and Women in Blue during National Police Week, for keeping us safe.
They should be visiting us soon for free Safety Inspections dockside.

Water we talking about?
Warm temps and sunny days as this week was just a taste of things to come. We were once again able to put another couple of dozen boats in the water, and the marina is really starting to take shape. So much so, that we can’t wait for another couple of weeks when the Vermilion River will start to look like this.
It’s not really de-“bait”-able…
Though we tried to “Hook” you with that heading, you should know that fishing is already underway out on Lake Erie as Walleye catches already are better then last year at this time. So there’s that to look forward to as well.
Another sign of summer approaching, our neighbors across the street at the Quaker Steak and Lube have opened their dockside patio with great views of the river. Seen at the end of the parking lot both below and in the pic above.
Live, Love, Launch..
So that gets us down to launch. If your already in the water then your in good shape, if your still holding out or undecided on what you would like to do with your boat, let us help. Just stop in the office any day of the week between 9am and 5pm and we will be happy to go over the whole process for you.
We hope to see you dockside!

Our spirits are “Bouy-ed” by recent temps…
We are working hard to get the pool in shape and even the Putter-Port will soon undergo a season opening cleanup so both will be ready for Memorial Day Weekend.

A flurry of activity at your home-port..
We had quite a week to work through but that hasn’t dampened our spirits. In fact, just the opposite, as we are back to launching boats. There was even a chance to uncover the pool and get it up and running (though not heated yet).
As you can see below, Wednesday we had snow,… But snow what…
Today the Sun has finally arrived!
And if your day starts like this (pic below taken 7:40am this morning) it usually is very good sign.
Launch the boats, Launch the Boats, Launch the boats….
The above is our work schedule for today. If your out and about this weekend and looking for dock space for your crew, please stop by and let us show you what we have to offer. With each passing day the forecast looks like Spring may finally get going, and we hope your thinking warm thoughts as more and more boats head to water.
We are open both Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm and hope to see you dockside!
