Temps that go boo in the night…..
The real October has started to rear its true temps here at your homeport as another week of Pull-Out comes to a close. It can be a spooky time of year for Captain’s who have yet to make their winter plans.
No tricks, all treat at your homeport…
We are open both Saturday and Sunday for those Captains who need to stop by and get their Winter Storage plans in ship shape, as always we are happy to assist you. One important note to share, our dockside water may be turned off and winterized in the coming weeks as cold evening temps have brought the threat of freezing temps in the coming days ahead. So plan ahead as the temps fall with the leaves.
Of Ghosts and Goblins…
This weekend also marks the start to the Halloween season in Vermilion as various non-profit groups and businesses host Halloween related events. Even though the official Trick or Treat is not until the 31st, we wanted to get an early start on asking everyone to keep an eye out for costumed kidos as events are planned in town from the 19th (South Shore Shopping Halloween) through the 31st ( full City).
Scariest picture of all…. Now is the time to get ready, long before the “S” word arrives!
We hope to see you dockside!
