The Times…They’re a changing.

Well it’s that time of year again, the “Back to School” bug has hit us, as it does every year at this time. As a good bit of our staff head back to further their education, we here at your home-port need to update you on what that means for “R” business hours.

Here goes (by department):

Store/Office & Gas docks:

The Marina Store/Office will be open 8-6 weekdays and 8-7 Fri-Sat-Sun weather permitting, this also applies to the gas docks. Gas and pump-outs during the week may be self-serve.

Putter Port:

Will be open 1pm to 10pm weekends only starting Thursday Aug 24th. It will close for the season after Labor Day Weekend.

Pool:

Will be open 10am – 6:30pm weekends only starting Aug 24th. It will also close after Labor Day Weekend.

Dairy Dock:

The Dock goes to a school schedule, meaning open at 11:30am and closing 9pm on school nights 10pm on Friday and Saturday.

We appreciate your understanding and sure hope to see you dockside!

Some days are good…..Summer better!

Sure the pun could use some work, but the point is now would be the best time to enjoy these Summer Days and the great outdoors.  With back to school a first sign of a changing of seasons, and before the kids are stuck inside a building for months, there’s still time to  get out on the water in the fresh air!

Don’t worry about missing your hi-def tv because nature comes in hi-def. Who knows you may encounter some “Jawsome” wild life while your at it.

Or, you can just relax and enjoy the view, a little something for everyone.

We hope to see you dockside at Romp’s Lake Erie Marina!

There’s a lot of summer left!…

Just because the TV has started showing back to school ads doesn’t mean that Summer is over, far from it. After all, the Perch season hasn’t even started yet, and the Lake is a balmy 72 degrees, perfect for your families swimming, skiing or tubing.

The kids will be stuck inside school buildings soon enough, so for now let them get out in the great outdoors and make splash..or maybe hit the greens.

Either way, we are ready for some summer fun and have plenty of great sunsets left…

We hope to see you dockside at Romp’s Lake Erie Marina!
