We know that folks are catching a lot of next years fish, those in the 13-14 size range, then put them back; yet this has also been the year of giants. About once a week someone rolls into the gas dock with a fish story so unbelievable that we ask for photographic proof, and then get it. How cool is that..

The best part of seeing these giants both in pics and some first hand is that it bodes well for the future of angling on Lake Erie. With the high volume of smaller Walleye being caught and released, it looks like a record setting haul is only a year away.

Yet, even in year a year of nice highlights, it makes one wonder how many more pics are out there of these jumbo eyes from the deep, so we thought you might enjoy some of this seasons best.

We hope you have enjoyed the best of the gas docks… hook, line, and sinker edition.
