First up…Environmental Studies.
Of course we know that the “Back to School’ season will soon be upon us, but long before that happens the kids can get quite an education just by getting some fresh air and interacting with nature. How about aquatic studies say in a nice refreshing lake?
Our uniform policy means causal dress and no shoes required…
Everyone will be stuck indoors soon enough, so why not get outside and load up on the sunshine while it lasts. Now is the time to make some lasting memories with family and friends.
It’s always recess at your home-port…
So don’t be in a hurry to let this…
Turn into this…

Shhhh…..Finally revealed, our secret recipe for a great weekend!
Just add water, sprinkle in some sunshine and mix until well done…
Operation Open Heart and Romp’s a decades long tradition…
We also had a chance to catch up with our friends from Operation Open Heart as they visited Putter-Port this week, as you can see it was a very active day with some fierce competition on the links. Best of all was the very high “Smiles per hour” rating we received. Thanking everyone who contributes to this great day.

The sun has been out for quite a while now and the temps have been very favorable here at your home-port. To add to that, Anglers have seen one of the best Walleye seasons we have ever had, but that’s just the beginning.
There’s a whole lot of summer fun left….
Being out on the lake whether swimming of fishing, tubing or skiing, is only part of the equation. There’s a whole bunch of dockside fun to be had as well. For instance, you can hit the links…
Or make a splash…
Of course, if that’s not your speed you can just relax in the blue waters of “R” pool while enjoying you favorite beverage.

All we need is some favorable lake conditions. On another quick note, Vermilion Road has re-opened for travel to and from your family fun marina, and just in time for the busy holiday.
Important Safety Notice:
As we all know the marina if full of boats that are also full of gasoline, our environment is not suited for any type of fireworks. So we ask that for the safety of all of our Captain’s, Crew, Guests and their property; that fireworks on Romp’s Property are strictly prohibited.
