The forecast for America’s Birthday not only includes sunshine and temps in the 80’s, but also a pool to relax in and some drinks served very cold. Now that’s a forecast you can take to the bank.

Please note, that For those needing parts or Service Department assistance our service staff will be off on Monday in addition to the weekend as they get to spend some much deserved time with family.

But fear not, the rest of our staff will be here serving you on the 4th and throughout the weekend as we celebrate America’s Birthday. So come out and relax and enjoy time with your family at your home-port this weekend!

So enjoy the freedom to splash around with family whether on the lake or in the pool. Maybe even sink a hook or two in search of the perfect perch to cook for your Holiday Meal. Either way, it’s your weekend to relax and celebrate the birth of this great nation. So enjoy!

Cool air descends…Fall may be arriving.

The skies are darkening a bit as cool air makes it way back to Northern Ohio. We knew that 80 degrees and sun every day was not going to last forever. With the arrival of fall you will notice some changes at Lake Erie’s family fun marina.

First of which is both Putter-Port and the Pool are now closed for the season. Also, a fence has been put up to prepare the marina for winter storage of boats as pull-out begins in a few short weeks.

For Romp’s dockers, you should have received your pull-out order by now. If you have not please call us and we can email or fax one to you. It is important that you carefully review the order and check the services you require. Please do not turn in an order without circling your choice of week to be pulled out. We need that information to schedule our services.

Anyone needing assistance or more information on the pull-out process please feel free to contact us. We will walk you through the whole process and try to make it completely hassle free!

Other then that, we hope you hook every last perch you can, while you can, to make the perfect end to what was practically the perfect boating season!

We have the cure for the winter time blahs…

Sure the spring launch season seems far off, but every day we inch a little closer to the beginning of spring! Each passing day brings more sunlight and with it the anticipation of warmer weather to come.

In the meantime we have the cure for the winter time blahs, and that is our Annual Open House and Customer Appreciation Weekend, stop in on January 28th or 29th for fun, food and drinks, plus some great prizes. But best of all is a chance to catch up with us and other captains and crews!.

We hope to see you there!
